Sunshine Challenge 2024
Each year during the Sunshine Challenge, spots are reserved based on the number of Senate members. See CHALLENGE SENATE QUOTA tab for more information.
Jacksonville has 18 spots. In order to get a Saturday, 12:30 p.m. spot you must do the following:
1. Contact the president Deborah Caldwell, via phone, text, or in person. cell 804-304-8030.
2. After you receive confirmation from her, you can give her the $175 or you can send Zelle to tnbagatorcitytournament@gmail.com

Spots are reserved on a first-come basis. One spot per team captain. No spot will be
reserved until payment is received.
Sunshine Challenge Entry Forms
UPDATED BRAGGING RIGHTS RULES FOR THE
SUNSHINE CHALLENGE
1. The Bragging Rights Match is a scratch event, with each Senate entering only members from their Senate.
2. Senates will be responsible for selecting their Bragging Rights teams (classic male, classic female, senior men and senior women).
3. Presidents will draw for lanes for the elimination game during the 3rd game of the 12:30 pm squad. Teams must be on their lanes and ready to bowl when re-oiling is finished.
4. Elimination Round:
All teams will bowl 1 game in “BAKER” format. The top four teams in each division will advance to the playoff round.
5. Playoff Round:
1 bowls 3, 2 bowls 4. Winners of each match will bowl for the division championship.
6. The winning team members will receive $100 each and the Senate of the winning teams will receive “The Sunshine Challenge Bragging Rights Trophy,” to be held for one year.
